- {Take of sun dried kokum.

Instructions to make Kokum sharbat:
- In a large bowl soak kokum with 3 cups of water for 4-5 hours..
- Transfer it to a blender and make a coarse paste..
- Now transfer it to Kadhai, add sugar and 1/2 cup of water and stir until sugar dissolves completely..
- Boil until mixture comes to a syrup consistency and keep stirring in between..
- Once done put off the flame add cumin powder, pepper powder,kala namak mix well, allow it to cool and transfer the mixture to the sieve. Squeeze the pulp well..
- Kokum concentrate is ready so now transfer it to glass jar or glass bottle.This concentrate can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 months.
- Now to make sharbat for 1 glass(1 cup of water) add 1 table spoon of concentrate add some ice cube squeeze few drops of lemon juice and water,stir well and this refreshing drink is ready.
